Job Details

We are currently working with a fantastic care home group who are looking for a cook to join one of their homes in the Druids Heath area of Birmingham. 

The position will be assisting the head cook to ensure a smooth delivery of food and beverages for the home residents for breakfast, lunch and tea time services. You will work closely to maintain correct stock levels, ensure high levels of kitchen hygiene and deliver a consistent quality service. 

The job is working 30 hours per week, days of work can be between Monday to Sunday. Usual shifts are between the hours of 8am-6pm. Flexibility will be required between these hours. 

We are looking for candidates who have previous kitchen experience within a similar setting and are competent with all areas of food safety and kitchen hygiene. You must also have had two COVID vaccinations. 

This care home can be easily reached by public transport and provides free parking.
