We are currently working with a beautiful village pub in the East Staffordshire area who are looking for a passionate Sous Chef to join their kitchen team.
Serving fresh locally sourced ingredients across lunch, evening and Sunday menu's, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure a smooth running of service, maintaining stock levels and adhering to high levels of kitchen hygiene and food safety at all times.
The successful candidate for this role will currently be working as a sous chef in a similar fresh food property, or will have at least two years chef de partie experience and be looking for their first step into the Sous Chef position. It is also essential to have had experience with the creation of new dishes and leading a team.
The job is working to a 45 hour contract over 5 days per week, straight shifts, with every Monday as one of your days off. You will receive 28 days holiday, group discounts, free meals on duty and free parking on site.
