We are currently working with a great hotel in Leamington Spa who are looking for an experienced chef/cook to run their kitchen operations.
With future plans for development and full autonomy on the kitchen, this is a great opportunity for an experienced chef to put their own stamp on a kitchen and help with the hotels progression.
You will be responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen, catering for daily breakfast, lunch and dinner guests and frequent functions for up to 100 guests. You will work closely with suppliers, train junior staff and have the opportunity to expand your team throughout the hotels plans for development.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience running a kitchen, performing kitchen management duties and be confident working both individually and as part of a team. You must have up to date food hygiene training and be competent with all things kitchen hygiene and food safety including HACCP and COSHH.
The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. Shifts to fit around business needs including breakfast, daytime and evening shifts. Splits are occasionally required. Overtime is paid for hours worked over 40.
