Chef Manager – Secondary Education – North Birmingham– salary £23,700 per annum – Term time only


My client is an independent contract catering company with a fresh approach to catering within the Education sector.


An opportunity has arisen for a talented and enthusiastic Chef Manager to manage a busy vegetarian catering contract within a secondary school in North Birmingham. You will be responsible for providing approximately 1500 children varied healthy and delicious vegetarian meals using fresh ingredients. You will be responsible for the development and motivation of your team, managing the kitchen in its entirety including the budget and stock control.

This is a fantastic role with a bery hands on team.


As Chef Manager you will be a motivated individual who can plan your day, organise and deliver an exceptional service aswell as building a successful relationship with the client.


You will have previous experience of successfully managing a very busy Education contract or commercial B&I. You will have a solid cheffing background aswell as a strong front of house presence. You will be very hands on cooking wise and up to date with current food trends also, have the ability to drives sales aswell as motivating your team. Knowledge or a genuine interest in cooking vegetarian dishes would be advantageous.


This is a Monday to Friday position, term time only - £23,700 per annum – 37.5 hours per  week
