Relief Chef Assistant Manager – Further Education – Walsall - £27,396 - £29,762 per annum – 52 weeks


An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Chef Manager to work with an established catering team in a busy kitchen at a Walsall Campus. You will work alongside the Chef Manager and team of catering assistants/cooks providing a delicious food offering and customer experience.


The food offering consists of hot meals, street food, salad bar, jackets and panini’s. There is also a coffee shop. You will be required to deputise in the Chef managers absence so experience of ordering, cashing up, supervising teams is essential. The is a busy campus serving breakfast and lunch. The is also hospitality and open days throughout the year.


My client is looking for someone who has experience working with B&I, Hotels, secondary or further education with management/supervisory experience. You will have City& Guilds 706 1 & 2 or equivalent, possess excellent food standards and practical skills, health and safety and have excellent organisational, team building and motivational skills.


You will work Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. Hours are 6.30/7am until 3/3.30pm. You will be required to work occasional evenings and weekends as and when required.


Salary £27,396 - £29,762 per annum
