Location: Birmingham City Centre
Hours: Monday to Friday  - shifts 7 – 3pm, 8 – 4pm, 11 – 6pm & 12 – 8pm
Contract: £12.71ph - Long-term ongoing role with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Catering Porter & Stores Person to join our client's busy operation in Birmingham City Centre.
This is a physically demanding role involving the loading, transportation, and delivery of catering trolleys across the building. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and can consistently deliver excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading catering trolleys safely and efficiently
• Delivering stock and equipment to various locations around the building
• Picking and preparing orders accurately
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and to a high standard
• Conducting checks to ensure order accuracy and quality
• Working closely with colleagues to maintain smooth daily operations
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

The Ideal Candidate

• Understanding of catering operations or food-related environments would be advantageous
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
• Able to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
• Proactive, switched on, and able to use initiative when required
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Previous experience in a warehouse picking or order fulfilment role
