My client is a stunning 4-star hotel and country club based in Meriden, surrounded by a beautiful golf course. They are looking for an ambitious driven individual to join their Front Desk team as a receptionist, being the first point of communication for all guest queries and requests.  

My client has recently become independent and are a super exciting project. They are looking to grow and expand their business, allowing for their employees to grow with them both personally and professionally. 

The duties and responsibilities of the Receptionist will be:  

  • Creating a welcoming environment for guests from check in to check out and supplying a high level of customer service throughout their stay. 
  • Answering knowledgeably about all hotel rates and facilities, upselling the amenities to guests. 
  • Operating the telephone and using the Opera system to check guests in and out of the hotel.  
  • Responsibility of all payment transactions and understanding the banking procedures.  
  • Liasing with housekeeping regarding allocation of rooms, and the other departments in line with hotel policies.  

The ideal Receptionist will:  

  • Be self-motivated, driven and ambitious, 
  • Have Great customer service, communication and teamwork skills.  
  • Ideally have experience using the Opera system. 
  • Have a desire to learn and will be able to work under pressure.  
  • Experience in a customer facing role is desired. 

My client is open to all candidates, no matter the experience. They are looking for reliable and flexible candidates to join their team. They offer outstanding training as they are aware hotel policies differ from location to location.   

Job-Type: Full-time, Permanent 

Schedule: 5/7 days, 40 hours 

Salary: £10.42ph, subject to change in April
