Are you an experienced Front Desk Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity? My client is a stunning independent hotel looking to expand their Front Office team and bring in a passionate determined Front Desk Manager to help support and assist the Front Office Manager team in the operation of the front desk. 

My client has recently become independent and are a super exciting project. They are looking to grow and expand their business, allowing for their employees to grow with them both personally and professionally.   
 
The duties and responsibilities of the Front Desk Manager will be: 
 

  • Liaise with the Front Office manager and assistant manager to ensure all hotel policies are adhered to throughout the team.  



  • Oversee the entire operations of the front desk, including check-in/check-out procedures, guest inquiries, and reservations. 



  • Train, mentor, and manage front desk staff to ensure high standards of service and professionalism. 



  • Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly and effectively, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the guest. 



  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to front desk activities, including occupancy rates, room availability, and guest preferences. 



  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient hotel operations. 


The ideal Front Desk Manager will be: 
 

  • Previous experience in a managerial/ supervisory role, ideally in a hotel setting. 



  • Previous experience in a front desk or guest service role in a hotel or hospitality setting. 



  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. 



  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. 



  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 



  • Ideally having experience in the Opera system. 


Salary: £28,000 per annum, approx, subject to change 
 
Schedule: 40 hours a week
