My client is a care home with 28 young residents who require assistance for coping with mental health issues. They are looking for a talented and empathetic cook to join their team and provide nutritious and comforting meals for their residents.

Due to the location of the care home, the successful candidate will need their own form of transportation.

The main duties and responsibilities of the Cook will be:

• Work independently to produce healthy meals for all 28 residents.
• Creating their own menu, adding variety to the residents meals.
• Controlling stock, ordering deliveries and ensuring food hygiene and health and safety standards are met.

 

The ideal Cook will:

• Have experience in a cooking role.
• Be empathetic, and resilient.
• Able to work independently.
• Have knowledge of different foods types and cuisines etc. Halal, Veggie

Job-type: Permanent, Fulltime

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

Salary: £13.50ph
