Are you an experienced Manager looking for a new opportunity? My client is a well-known high quality restaurant chain, with multiple UK venues who are looking to recruit a new General Manager for their restaurant in Birmingham.
General Manager duties include –
- Ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently and effectively, maintaining the quality and standards of the brand and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Full involvement in the recruitment, training and development of staff members including rotas, developmental plans, performance reviews and disciplinary actions where necessary.
- Managing inventory levels, ensuring supplies, conducting regular inventory audits, and negotiating with suppliers to secure cost-effective contracts.
- Involvement in setting, achieving and maintaining restaurants financial sales targets, overseeing that the team are actively working towards exceeding set targets, controlling costs and preparing financial reports.
- Collaborating with the founders and management team to develop and refresh menu offerings when needed
The ideal General Manager will –
- Be experienced and passionate about hospitality and achieving a successful work place
- Be a strong leader with the ability to build good rapport with colleagues and customers
- Be able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles, with the ability to manage budgets and financial plans.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Salary: £38,000 with a bonus structure offered.
Job-Type: Full-time, Permanent, 48 hours per week
