We are currently working with an excellent 4* hotel located in Meriden who have an exciting new opportunity that has become available for a Sous Chef.
As Sous Chef you will –
- Deputise in the absence of the Head Chef ensuring the smooth running of all services that come through the kitchen
- Assist the Head Chef in training and development of the kitchen team
- Help the head chef with managing stock and developing new dishes and menus, keeping up to date with new products
- Provide a consistently high level of service and product delivery
This Sous Chef position is a great opportunity to continue to learn and develop your skills. You will be passionate about food innovation, high quality ingredients and be reliable and hard working. You must have experience dealing with large banqueting numbers and be able to work in a fast-paced, pressured environment.
As Sous Chef, you will be working 40 hours a week on any 5 days out of 7, predominately straight shifts. Pay rate is £13.90 per hour, all overtime is paid hourly.
