Temporary Recruitment Consultant

Hagley Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B16 8LB

Full time: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, 1 in 4 weekends on call

Salary: Competitive dependant on experience

Pertemps Network Group is an successful award-winning independent recruitment company first established in 1961. The Catering & Hospitality division of Pertemps are seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join their successful temps team looking after our Domestic Cleaning & Housekeeping desk. The desk is warm currently hitting commission threshold, with a long list of existing clients, however we would like this desk to continue to grow and believe there are a number of ways this can happen.

Pertemps is a renowned market leader in the recruitment industry who is committed to the mentoring, training and development of every employee in the business and our Catering & Hospitality operation has been in operation since the mid 1980’s so offers a solid foundation for anyone new to recruitment.

As a Recruitment Consultant in our brand, you will be required to:

• Manage an existing candidate workforce
• Manage and develop the existing client database
• Advertise for and recruit a temporary workforce ensuring a quality level of service is delivered at all times during the recruitment process
• Interview, onboard and gain compliant documents for the candidates in order to utilise in work
• Cold call and sell to prospective businesses in order to grow our market share and desk

The ideal Recruitment Consultant will ideally hold the following skills:

• Previous experience within sales and cold calling
• A proven track record of generating new and managing existing business
• Experience of managing a temporary or permanent workforce
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Enthusiasm and drive to be successful
