Housekeeping Assistants - 30-37hrs per week

My client is a stunning 4-star hotel and country club based in Meriden, surrounded by a beautiful golf course. They are looking to add a passionate and driven individual to join their Housekeeping as a Housekeeper, ensuring the high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the 214 rooms of the hotel.

My client has recently become independent and are a super exciting project. They are looking to grow and expand their business, allowing for their employees to grow with them both personally and professionally.

The main duties of the Housekeeper will be:

  • Cleaning and setting up of rooms of the hotel, ensuring a swift turnaround on the rooms.
  • Replacing amenities in the bathrooms of rooms, e.g. shampoos, shower gels, towels.
  • Dealing with guests’ requests and queries swiftly and in the correct manner.
  • Supporting the Housekeeping manager and supervisor in all aspects of the departments.
  • Liasing with other departments of the hotel, adhering to hotel policies across the board.
  • Following health and safety regulations in the cleaning of rooms and public areas.

The ideal Housekeeper will:

  • Ideally have experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role.
  • Be passionate, determined and driven.
  • Have good customer service, communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be willing to learn and adapt to different situations.

My client is looking for multiple reliable and flexible candidates to join their team. They offer outstanding training as they are aware hotel policies differ from location to location.

Job-type: Full-time, Temporary to permanent basis (if suitable)

Schedule: 37.5 hours a week – 8:00am-4:00pm or 30 hours per week – 8:30am-2:30pm

 5/7 days a week-  shift patterns to be discussed at interview.

Salary: £10.42ph, increasing to £11.44ph from April 1st
