Restaurant & Bar Manager
Are you a passionate hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a hands-on management style?
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant & Bar Manager to join a beautiful 4* venue. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious hospitality leader to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of our restaurant and bar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, high service standards, and strong commercial performance.
Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, Executive Chef, and wider management team, you will play a key role in leading, developing and motivating the front-of-house team while driving service excellence across a busy hotel operation.
The Role
As Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage the daily operation of the restaurant and bar.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain high service standards.
- Conduct pre-service briefings and organise teams effectively.
- Support and develop front-of-house colleagues through coaching and training.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Drive sales through effective upselling and guest engagement.
- Monitor labour costs, stock control and operational efficiencies.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and proactively.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, health & safety, licensing and allergen procedures.
- Support weddings, conferences, private functions and special events as required.
About YouWe're looking for someone who has:
- Previous management or supervisory experience within a hotel, restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting.
- Strong experience leading front-of-house teams during busy service periods.
- Excellent customer service and complaint-resolution skills.
- Strong organisational and people management abilities.
- A hands-on approach and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Knowledge of food safety, licensing regulations and health & safety requirements.
- Experience with stock control, rotas and labour management.
- The ability to remain calm, positive and professional in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Requirements- Full UK Driving Licence and access to transport due to the hotel's location.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays and peak hospitality periods.
- Ability to work within a seven-day operation supporting weddings, events and conferences.
