Cook /Cook supervisor

Here at Pertemps Network Catering, we are currently recruiting for a Cook/ Cook supervisor to work alongside with our clients for a busy college in Longbridge.

College Hours:  Monday- Friday 7am-2.00pm

Enhanced DBS needed 

The role will involve working as part of the catering as a college Cook/ Cook supervisor, you will play a crucial role in providing well-balanced breakfast and lunch service to students, contributing to their overall well-being and academic success.
Cook/ Cook supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality meals for students and staff, adhering to the school's culinary standards.
  • Plan and execute daily menus, considering nutritional balance, dietary restrictions, and special requests.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and work collaboratively to ensure efficient operations.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs.
  • Adapt menus to accommodate dietary needs and preferences.
  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and waste reduction.
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is well-maintained and report any maintenance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of food preparation and kitchen procedures.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
